An excellent inclusive educational resource

Paper Doll Families is a fantastic resource by Cath Hakanson. My child loved the interactive aspect and was able to cut out and colour the dolls. We discussed the topic of Where do babies come from? Whilst playing with the paper dolls.
This inclusive activity book is a brilliant way to introduce the topic of reproduction, pregnancy, childbirth and babies to children in a fun and age appropriate way. There are several dolls including babies of different ages (newborn, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months and 18 months), different ethnicities, all of the paper dolls are anatomically correct. The parents are also included so there is an opportunity to discuss how babies are made and the unique ways in which this can be done (donation, assisted reproduction, surrogacy and adoption).
