You’re ready to get started - but no one’s ever shown you how this is done.

You don’t need your child’s whole sex education figured out before you begin. You need to know how to start, what to talk about and how to keep the conversations going as your child grows.

Get Started with Sex Ed is an instant-access crash course that shows you how, one manageable conversation at a time.

What’s inside the course

The lesson comes in three formats, so you can choose whichever suits you. It’s the same lesson in each, so you won’t miss anything.

  • 60-minute video lesson: watch it in one sitting or in smaller pieces
  • Audio version: listen while you’re driving, walking the dog or doing the washing
  • 29-page printable guide: read it, highlight it and come back to it when you need a reminder

Plus four practical resources:

  • Conversation Starters Cheat Sheet: words and phrases to help you bring up a topic
  • What to Talk About Now or Later: a list of what to talk about now and what can wait
  • What Sex Ed Topics to Discuss by Age Group: which topics suit which ages, from 0 to 18
  • Neuro-affirming Sex Ed Teaching Tips: ideas for adapting how you teach to how your child learns and communicates

After you buy, you’ll get an email with a link to access everything. This is a digital product, so nothing physical will ship.

Who it’s for

Parents and carers of children aged 0 to 18 who want to be involved in their child’s sex education but aren’t sure where to begin. You might be starting with a toddler, getting ready for puberty, or realising your teenager needs conversations you haven’t had yet.

You don’t need to share my values to use it. It includes teaching considerations for autistic and/or ADHDer kids too.

It’s for you, not for your child to watch.

Will talking about sex harm my child?

No. Accurate, age-appropriate information helps children make safer choices - it’s silence that leaves them guessing.

Age-appropriate doesn’t mean adult-level detail. A four-year-old who asks where babies come from needs a different explanation from a fourteen-year-old.

The facts stay the same, and you add your own family values.

What this doesn’t cover

This is a starting point for family sex education. It shows you how to begin, what to talk about at your child’s age and how to bring your family values into it.

It doesn’t give detailed lessons on every individual topic, such as puberty, porn, contraception or sexual behaviour. And it’s not a course for your child to watch.

Know how to begin, so you can start the conversation.

Get instant access to Get Started with Sex Ed, plus the expanded age guides and Sexual Values Workbooks, and start talking in a way that fits your child and your family.

Yes. You pay once and keep access for good. There’s no subscription and no renewal.

This is a digital product. Nothing physical will be shipped.

How do I know what to talk about at my child’s age?
That’s what What Sex Ed Topics to Discuss by Age Group is for. It shows you which topics fit which ages from 0 to 18. You don’t need to teach everything at once. What to Talk About Now or Later helps you decide what matters now and what can wait.

My child hasn’t asked me anything. Should I wait?
Not necessarily. Some children ask constantly and others hardly ask anything, and not asking doesn’t mean they aren’t curious or haven’t heard things from friends, school or online. You can start small conversations without waiting for a question. The course shows you how, and the Conversation Starters Cheat Sheet gives you words to bring a topic up.

Does the course cover every sex education topic?
No. It’s a starting point. The course shows you how to teach sex education and how to begin, and the age guide helps you work out what to talk about at your child’s age. It doesn’t give detailed lessons on every individual topic, such as puberty, porn, contraception or sexual behaviour.

What if I feel really awkward talking about sex?
You can feel awkward and still have a useful conversation. You don’t have to sound confident or have every word memorised. Some people find it helps to practise what they’ll say, and some find it easier to talk while driving or doing something together. It usually gets easier once you’ve started.

What if I say the wrong thing?
Then you can go back and fix it. You might say, “I’ve been thinking about what I said yesterday, and I want to explain it a bit better.” One awkward answer doesn’t ruin future conversations. You can come back, explain it differently or apologise if your reaction wasn’t helpful.

What if my child asks something and I don’t know the answer?
You can say, “That’s a good question. I’m not sure of the answer, but I’ll find out.” Then come back to it. You don’t need to know everything about sex education. You need to be willing to listen, find accurate information and keep the conversation open.

Will this work for my autistic and/or ADHDer child?
It can help you adapt your approach. The course includes neuro-affirming teaching tips that cover things like clear language, processing time, repetition and different ways of communicating. I’m autistic and ADHD myself. The facts don’t change, but how you teach them can.

30-day no-hassle money-back guarantee. If it's not right for your family, email me within 30 days and I'll refund it. No forms, no questions.

Great product- non judgemental, friendly delivery

I recently purchased the getting started with sex ed course and was pleasantly surprised to find that instead of doing a big awkward talk like I feared, I’d already been doing a lot of the little conversations about bodies, feelings, consent etc with my kids. I liked how she broke the details into specific age/stages. Highly recommend!
