It’s always when you least expect it.
You’re in the supermarket, on the school run, or folding laundry when your child suddenly asks something about their body.
Or points to someone else’s.
Or blurts out something that makes your stomach drop.

And here’s the thing: Google cannot prepare you for this.
Kids never ask the neat, predictable questions we imagine – they ask the random, funny, awkward ones that only a child’s brain can come up with.

After 25+ years of listening to kids, I’ve heard it all.
That’s why this bundle is different.
It’s not generic “Google advice” – it’s grounded in the actual questions children ask, so you’ll be ready with answers that truly land.

In that moment, when the unexpected question lands, your mind naturally races. What do I say? How much do I say? Should I be serious? Keep it light?

Sometimes you freeze.
Sometimes you launch into a lecture that’s… a bit much for the moment.
Other times, you think you’ve handled it well – until you replay it later and wish you’d done it differently.

Why being ready matters

Most parents aren’t ready for these moments. We think we’ll deal with them when they happen. But reacting in the moment can accidentally pass on awkwardness or shame – even when that’s the last thing we want.

The truth is, conversations about bodies don’t happen in one big “talk.” They happen in bits and pieces – a question here, an observation there – over years. From toddlers tugging at their clothes in public, to primary kids asking why a friend’s body looks different, to teens pushing for privacy or navigating consent.

If you’re ready, those moments build trust. They tell your child: It’s okay to talk to me about this.
If you’re not, they can slip by – and next time, your child might not come to you at all.

Your all-in-one body conversation kit

The Bodies Bundle is your “be ready” kit.
It’s a parent-first set of guides and activities designed to make body talks easier, calmer, and more connected – no matter your child’s age. You’ll know what’s age-appropriate, how to answer without awkwardness, and how to keep the conversation going in small, everyday ways.

These aren’t just “Google-style” answers. Every guide is grounded in real-life parenting moments and based on the questions kids actually ask – not what adults assume they might. That means the advice is practical, tried-and-true, and ready for the real conversations waiting in your home.

Inside, you’ll get:

  • The Parents’ Guide to Private Body Parts – A comprehensive, all-ages guide to help you talk about genitals, erections, nudity, and body safety without feeling awkward. From nappy changes to puberty, this 200-page resource gives you clear, shame-free language and real-life scripts for every age and stage – plus a web app for quick reference when tricky questions pop up.

  • Your Body: An Illustrated Guide for Kids – Anatomically correct, child-friendly diagrams of diverse bodies – including vulvas, penises, and internal organs – to help you teach private parts and body differences without awkwardness. Includes a supportive parent guide and 33 illustrations so you can choose what to show (and save the rest for later).

  • Anatomically Correct Paper Dolls & Superheroes – A fun, hands-on paper activity to help your child learn about body parts, gender, and body diversity through colouring, cutting and play. Includes 10 diverse characters, over 30 inclusive outfits, and a detailed parent guide to help you talk about privacy, identity, and respect in a way that’s clear, kind, and age-appropriate.

  • DIY Anatomical Models of Genitals – A step-by-step clay modelling activity that helps you teach private parts, hygiene, and body diversity in a clear, hands-on way. Includes photo instructions for making realistic models of the vulva, clitoris, penis (with and without foreskin), and anus – plus tips for age-appropriate conversations about anatomy, pleasure, and respectful touch.

The rewards for you - and the lessons for them

Whether you’re answering a toddler’s bath-time question or guiding a teen through privacy and consent, these resources give you:

  • Age-by-age guidance from babyhood through 15+
  • Words and images that are accurate, inclusive, and adaptable to your values
  • Activities that turn tricky topics into natural conversations
  • Tools to make even the most awkward moments calm and connection-building

Why it works for every family

You don’t have to set aside hours. Even one page, one activity, or one quick reference can prepare you for the questions kids actually ask – the ones Cath has heard over 20+ years as a nurse and sex educator.

And because every family’s values are different, each resource is flexible. You choose the words, examples, and topics that fit your beliefs – without losing accuracy or respect.

Suitable for parents of children aged between 0 to 18 years.

What ages is The Bodies Bundle suitable for?
The bundle covers all ages – from babies through to 15+. Each resource is broken into age groups, so you can jump straight to what’s relevant for your child right now (and come back to the rest later).

Will this work if we’re a modest or faith-based family?
Yes. Every resource is flexible and includes options so you can adapt the language and examples to fit your family’s values, while still keeping the facts accurate and respectful. Many faith-based and conservative families use these tools with confidence.

Do I have to use all four resources at once?
Not at all. You can start with just one page, one activity, or one diagram. The bundle is designed so you can dip in and out as needed – and it will grow with your child over the years.

Won’t teaching my child about private parts or pleasure oversexualise them?
No – research shows that giving kids accurate, age-appropriate information about their bodies actually protects them. It helps them understand privacy, boundaries, and consent, and makes them more likely to come to you with questions.

What if my child says these words in public?
You’ll learn how to handle that, too. The bundle includes tips for introducing correct terms in a way that helps kids understand when and where certain words are okay to use.

I’m not very confident talking about this – will I be able to do it?
Absolutely. These resources were designed for parents who aren’t 100% comfortable with the topic (yet). You’ll get examples, conversation starters, and scripts you can follow word-for-word until you feel more confident.

Is this a physical product or a download?
It’s all digital – you’ll get instant access to the PDFs and web app versions as soon as you purchase. That means you can use them on your phone, tablet, or computer, or print the pages you want.

Will this work for neurodivergent children?
Yes – many parents of autistic, ADHD, and other neurodivergent kids use these resources successfully. The bundle is flexible and visual, with clear, concrete language and step-by-step activities that support different learning styles. You can pace the conversations to suit your child, repeat sections as needed, and use the visual tools to make abstract concepts easier to understand.

What if my child asks something I’m not ready for?
That’s exactly why The Bodies Bundle exists. You don’t have to have all the answers in your head – just a way to find them quickly. With the bundle at your fingertips, you can give an age-appropriate answer in the moment, or let your child know you’ll chat about it later (and actually feel prepared when you do).

Still have a question?
Just click the chat button in the bottom corner of your screen and ask away – I’m happy to help 😊

This helped my child feel less worried about puberty

My son has been asking a lot of questions about puberty, especially about penises, body hair, and how his body might change as he grows. Your Body has been such a helpful resource because it shows real diversity in bodies, including adult naked bodies and child bodies, without making it feel awkward or shameful. He was worried about growing hair on his back, and this helped us talk about how bodies are all different - and that difference is part of growing up.

I absolutely love this. This has helped me talk to my young children about different body parts, it also opens up conversation about body types. Everyone is different and I want my kids to know that! I definitely plan to purchase more in the future to help me as my kids grow.
