This activity includes ten characters and over 30 costumes for hours of happy play.

It contains a collection of naked bodies with a penis, vulva, and “draw your own” anatomy.

It’s a gentle introduction to the idea that our bodies are similar, but also different. And is perfect for teaching kids about body parts and bodies.

Our Superheroes have masks, capes, and walking aids. And Friends come in dozens of shapes, colours, and sizes.

Welcome to a world where everyone is welcome!

While they cut, colour and paste, your child is learning:

  • What are the names for body parts, and which ones are private?
  • What does transgender mean?
  • What choices do we have about our bodies and relationships?

Paper Dolls – Families, Friends, & Super Heroes

These dolls are lovely! I was blown away by these, so much more detailed than expected, with lots of little added extras, and truly exceeded my expectations. Cannot wait to print and get the kids playing.

Frequently asked Questions

Can I use this activity more than once?

Yes! You can re-print them multiple times (for your own family’s use only).

Won’t this encourage my child to ask questions?

I hope so! Children are naturally curious and full of questions. Where would you like them to get their answers? Their friends? Google? Or you? By enjoying these activities with your child you are showing them that you are a safe person to ask.

Is my child too young for this?

If your child can enjoy cutting, colouring and/or dressing up the dolls, then they’re old enough.

You don’t need to pass on information that they might not be ready for.

They will let you know when they are ready to know more by asking you questions.

The parent’s guides included with the activity packs will help you answer those questions in a way that feels comfortable to you, and that reflects your child’s age and stage of development.

What if I don’t know what to talk about?

If you’re unsure about what to talk about, then that’s fine! As there is a Parent Guide with lots of suggestions on how to get started.

You’ll also find conversation starters with ideas on what to talk about.

I have one more question...
